Convusic is a Safari extension. When you tap a link for a music service you don’t use, it catches the link while the page is still loading and reroutes it to the same music in the app you’ve chosen — before the wall ever appears. You turn it on once in Safari’s extension settings, and from then on it’s automatic. You can also paste any music link into the Convusic app to convert it by hand.

Pick your music app in Convusic — the extension follows whatever the app is set to. If you use iCloud, the choice syncs to every device you own, so you only pick once.

Songs, albums, and artist pages — anything that’s part of a service’s public catalog. Convusic finds the same content on your service and sends you there.

Playlists aren’t catalog content — they’re personal collections that belong to the account of whoever made them. A Spotify playlist has no Apple Music counterpart, so there’s nothing for Convusic to redirect to. Songs, albums, and artists exist on every service, and that’s what makes converting them possible.

Convusic depends on a browser extension to redirect links automatically, and Chrome on Android doesn’t support extensions. Google has left that capability out for years — most likely because extensions, above all ad blockers, would cut into its advertising revenue. Until that changes, the automatic redirect at the heart of Convusic isn’t possible on Android.

No. Convusic has no accounts and no sign-in — and it doesn’t need your accounts with the music services either. The only thing you need is the music app you already use. There’s no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no user-identifiable data of any kind; see the privacy policy for the full picture.

Convusic is sold exclusively on the App Store — there’s nothing to download anywhere else. It’s a one-time purchase, no subscription, and a single purchase unlocks the iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps.
